Jon quickly found one of the rings and put it on, but the other was found by Pete (one of his friends).
"Hey Jon, is this yours?" he asked. He put it on, just to look at it. Unfortunately, when he did the rings made the two wearers fall deeply in love with each others.
They embraced each other and kissed. Everyone around them stopped and stared, including Karyn. She had no idea that Jon was gay.
"I love you, Pete," Jon said.
