Jon handed the stone to Karyn.
"I wish I was a chearleader on the varsity chear squad."
Suddently there was a small flash. Karyn was still sitting in front of Jon. She was a bit perplexed and wondered for a second if the wish failed. Then she looked down and realized she had her school duffle bag with her. She'd only have one if she was on the squad.
Karyn giggled with excitement and handed back the stone to Jon. Sarah came over to the table to get Karyn.
"Honestly, I don't see why you keep insisting on hanging out with this loser." Sarah sneared.
Karyn got up and started walking away. Jon held the rock close to his face and whispered, "I wish..."
