As Karyn caught up to Jon she was shocked to notice that he was shorter than he had been before. They were practically the same height now. His height wasn't the only thing that had changed about him though, his body looked almost nothing like it had the last time she'd seen him. If she had only seen him from the neck down, she would have said he was definitely a girl. Only his face still looked enough like her longtime friend for her to be sure it was him.
"What the hell happened to you?" Karyn asked Jon as she slowed to a stop. "You look like a girl."
"Um... well, I think I might actually be one." Jon said.
"Be one?" Karyn asked confused.
"A girl." Jon said. Now that he'd actually said the words aloud, it seemed kind of right. It had seemed weird at first when Tiffany had sort of pointed it out earlier, but now the idea was growing on him.
"How? Did you make a stupid wish?"
"Not recently. I think this might part of the wish I made about something interesting happening that I told you about."
"I guess turning you into a girl is sort of interesting." Karyn said shrugging. "It's a little weird at least."
"Not nearly as weird as the way that I am transforming." Jon replied.
"Oh really? How's that."
Jon looked up and down the street. He didn't see anybody else out there but it still seemed like they were a little too exposed to talk about such things openly. "Can we maybe talk about this later or somewhere else? The middle of the street at midnight doesn't seem like the time or place for this."
"Well, we can go to my place; nobody is there." Karyn said "My dad is still away on his business trip for a couple more days and my mom is pulling a double shift at the hospital tonight since they are still short staffed."
Jon thought about it for a few seconds before eventually agreeing to go to Karyn's house. When they got there they automatically went to Karyn's room for some privacy even though there wasn't anyone home. "So," said Karyn, "Tell me what it is that is turning you into a girl. Is it curse clothing? Some sort of slow acting magic potion you drank by mistake?"
"No nothing like that. It's Tiffany."
"Tiffany is turning you into a girl?" Karyn asked incredulously. "Did she steal the stone from you?"
"What? No. It happens when we have sex." Jon said. Karyn looked at Jon confused. "Everytime we have sex, I become a little more like a girl and she becomes a little more like a boy. At this point we've almost completely swapped genders."
"Jesus Jon. How much sex have you been having?"
"Um... kind of a lot actually." he admitted.
"Okay then. But how does having sex with Tiffany turn you into a girl?" Karyn asked "That doesn't make any sense."
"Well, when we have sex it's... um... kind of like she is the guy and I'm the girl."
Karyn's confused look returned. She thought she might understand what he was talking about given her recent sexual activities with Steve. She hoped she was wrong when she asked "So it's like she has an invisible penis and she is sticking it into a vagina that you don't actually have?"
"Yeah, just like that. Or at least it was at first. How did you know?" Jon asked.
"I think the same thing might be happening to me and Steve. We've had sex a few times since you made your wish and each time it was like I was the guy. I haven't noticed any changes to my body though. "
"Have you checked recently? We were pretty far along before either of us noticed anything."
Karyn didn't say anything at first. She just looked at Jon for a moment then she stood up and started to take her shirt off. Jon gasped and then looked away.
"Oh come on Jon." Karyn said as she took off her bra. "It's not like I've got anything that you haven't seen before. Besides, you should take your clothes off too. I want to see what changes have happened to you."
Jon looked at Karyn, who was now topless and had started to take off her pants as well, and decided that she was right. They could check each other out to see what changes were happening. By the time that Karyn was completely nude, Jon was down to just his underwear which, with a sigh, he let drop to the floor as well.
It was the first time that the two had ever seen each other naked and not the way either of them had ever thought they might end up that way together.
