"My feet? Well I should be able to them a bit easier now." she said glancing under the desk. ""Not from this angle though. Hey, my clothes still fit, that's cool. What about my feet?"
"I dunno: stand up for a minute." I said.
Karyn turned and hopped off the lab stool. Hopped off? In homeroom, her toes should just scuff the floor. Karen cocked her head and looked [i]up[i/] at my chin.
"Oh, shit." she said half an octave above her usual vocie. Then she tried to hop back up; one hand clutching the stone, she nearly knocked the stool over in the process.
"Might want to pack an oxygen mask for the next climb." came a voice from the back of the room. Sarah.
Karyn's knuckles went white. She whispered something, but I couldn't hear it. I felt it though, though not as strongly as before: she'd just triggered the stone.
"Karyn, what did you just say?" I asked as the bell rang.
