Jon blinked a few times as he processed what he now saw. The person standing at the door was still a woman, but she was no longer dressed as a police officer. Instead, she was dressed in a T-shirt and jeans. In fact, she was dressed very similarly to how Jon usually dressed. And now that he thought about it, she had a very tomboyish look to her, especially with her shorter hairstyle and lack of make-up.
But what did that mean for him? If the policewoman was no longer a cop, then did that mean that Jon was a cop now? He was still a teenager, so he obviously couldn't be a cop. But maybe he had the personality of one? How had this "role reversal" changed his life?
"Oh, I'm sorry," the woman said. "I must have the wrong house." Then she turned around and headed back down to the street, leaving Jon to figure things out on his own.
