Jessica grabbed her head for a moment, then suddenly her dizziness was gone. "That was weird," she muttered. For a moment, she thought something was different, but it must have just been her imagination. She turned and looked at herself in the hallway mirror. She looked as normal as ever: T-shirt, jeans, short unkempt hair. Some people didn't understand why she wanted a tomboy look, but she liked it. It was one of the reasons her friend Vicky McMillan liked her so much. Apparently, being less girly was a plus for the rich girl. Or, at least, she thought that's how she felt. She tried to wrap her head around why Vicky threw her out of her house. Maybe she was just having a bad day? Jessica decided to give her some space. She'd just call her later.
She headed back downstairs to get something to eat from the kitchen. Maybe she'd watch some sports on TV or maybe play a video game.
