Jon stared at the rag in hand, dumbfounded. He thought about the wish he made, and with sudden clarity, realized he forgot to exclude himself from the wish. He had accidentally taken on Sarah's personality, and apparently, her job. But that didn't seem right. Jobs weren't personalities, and so he wasn't a maid. He just liked to keep things clean, which wasn't a crime at all. Still, he would rather not be the servant to his family, and reached for the rock, but it wasn't with him.
"Oh, that stupid bitch." He said. When he and Sarah swapped, he got a rag and she got the stone.
But it wasn't like he was without resources. He reached for his iPhone and pulled up his call lists. He was surprised how full it was. Everybody who was anybody was in his phone. Karyn was not. But a girl named Valerie Wells was. In fact, Jon had a sexy picture of her in a bikini as his wallpaper. He wondered if he had gained a girlfriend in all the swapping. He remembered that, before he made his wish, Valerie was Sarah's best lackey. That didn't necessarily mean she knew where Sarah was, but it wouldn't hurt.
As he dialed her number, he hoped the rest of his family swaps wouldn't mess up things any more than they had already.
