Sarah shook her hand and spit out 2d6 that then scattered and bounced along the table. "Wooo! Critical hit!" She shouted.
In the moments after she talked to Jon, she found herself in a game and comic store with a group of friends from school. Most of them had moppy hair and tried to get by with nerdy t-shirts and jeans. Sarah, though, had a bit more fashion sense (a trait Jon himself had gained after his mother talked to Sarah's father) and her own nerdy attire looked a bit better than her friends.
She now fit in with the "gamma" girls at school; an easy-going and good natured group now, she could fit in with most any clique. And she truly enjoyed Dungeons & Dragons and Stargate now. Of course, she never remembered that she had been any other way.
The game continued, and the wishing stone she had accidentally taken from Jon sat in her backpack that also contained her Core rulebooks.
Role Reversal: Sarah is a Maid and Things are Complicated
Jon paced back and forth in his little room. He wanted the world back as it should be. Back as it was just after his mother had talked to Sarah's father and just before he had talked to Sarah. He was rich, and really shouldn't be living in this tiny room, he thought.
He worked his ass off everyday at cheerleading, and worked hard to make sure no one on the outside knew he was practically a maid in his own home, much as Sarah had hidden her job from her friends.
He remembered the way he had acted before, and his life even before his wish. And he was thoroughly embarrassed by it. He picked up some car keys from his dresser, threw off his apron, and went to the garage.
He needed to find Sarah and get the stone back from her. He found three cars in the garage. One was a large red hummer, the next a sleek black Mercedes, and the last was a worn blue Camry. He sighed and started the Camry up; a feat that took a few seconds.
Jon had a feeling he would find Sarah at the local comic shop, though he hated that he would be seen there.
