Realizing it was nearly 5, Jon left the house and walked to Panera Bread. As he was walking, Jon was astonished to see Karyn round the corner into the parking lot driving a minivan! Even though she had her license, Karyn wasn't allowed to drive, and even if she did, neither of her parents owned a minivan. Jon walked up and saw her climb out of the car. She was wearing a yellow sun dress. Her hair was back to its original red color, but styled just like Jon's mom used to wear it. Jon idly thought to himself how mature she looked. "Karyn!" Jon greeted his friend, "why are you driving a minivan?"
Karyn furrowed her brow as she looked at the vehicle. Looking back at Jon, she said, "Jon? I always drive the minivan so I can safely haul you guys around!" Jon was still confused until she said, "Now lets hurry up and pick up some food. Your family will be waiting for their dinner. Jon raised his eyebrows as he finally understood. Karyn thought it was her responsibility to feed him and his family!
