Without any more thought, Jon sprinted towards the front door, hoping to get out before anyone knew what was happening. And it worked! He was able to open the door and sprint out. On his way out, he nearly bowled over the pizza delivery boy walking up to the house. Jon momentarily looked back at him, apologizing for nearly knocking him over, then continued running home.

"Hey! Mph," he heard the pizza boy. He looked back for a moment and saw that Biff had shoved the guy to the side, causing the sausage and mushroom pizza to go flailing across Sarah's front yard. He was running right at Jon! He had to pick up the speed. What was Jon thinking? Biff was an athlete. He'd probably catch up to Jon is no time.

"Get back here, you twerp!" Biff yelled.

Once Jon got out of Sarah's neighborhood, he found himself in more familiar territory. He spotted an alley that was a good shortcut to his house and took it. Then he jumped over a couple of fences and through some back yards, then finally made it to his house. He knocked on the front door, as he fumbled for his house key.

"Hey!" he heard from behind him. It was Biff. He was just down the street. And the way he was running, he'd be at Jon's house in no time at all.

Jon pounded harder on the front door. "Is anyone home?!" he yelled. "It's me ... Jon!" He kept on trying to find his house key. He never did this under so much pressure before. He wasn't usually so much of a klutz. He looked back over his shoulder and saw Biff. He was only two houses down the street!

Jon's heart was beating faster and faster.
