Jon had never been to Sarah's house, for obvious reasons, so this was a first-time experience for him. But as far as everyone else was concerned, Jon was a frequent guest.
After they walked in, Sarah sought out her aunt, leaving Jon to look around the very spacious house. Sarah's parents were some of the richest in town and their house definitely reflected that. In the normal reality, Sarah's parents spoiled her (which in turn made Sarah one of the biggest bitches around), but it seemed that in this reality they didn't. Or at least, she didn't react to their treatment of her in the same way.
"You remember Jon, right?" he heard Sarah say. He turned around and saw her walking into the foyer with a woman, who must have been Aunt Linda.
"Of course, how could I forget?" Linda said. She approached him and shook his hand. "I'm glad to see my niece is in such good company."
"Uh, thanks," Jon said.
"Now, who wants some pizza? I just ordered. It should be here momentarily."
"That sounds great," Jon said. He was a little hungry. Maybe spending time with Sarah's aunt wouldn't be so bad.
