After a quick stop at his locker to exchange schoolbooks, Jon walked to his Spanish class.
When waiting for the teacher to arrive, Jon overheard the same guy he interrupted the previous day. Jon thought that his name was Ryan. He was talking about Biff, once again. But this time, the discussion was a little different than what Jon expected.
"Biff is so lucky to have Tiffany Sanders as his girlfriend," Ryan said. "She is so hot. And ..."
Then Jon interrupted. "Wait a minute. Don't you mean Zoe Gibson?"
Ryan looked a little confused. "Zoe?" He looked like he was trying to remember something, then it came to him. "Oh, you mean that Freshman chick? Biff doesn't date Freshmen."
"Oh." Jon hadn't thought about that. And from Ryan's description of Zoe, it seemed that maybe she wasn't the most popular girl in school. Which kind of made sense. When the original Sarah McMillan was a Freshman, she wasn't the most popular girl in school. It took her some time to achieve that status. The same must have been true of his sister.
Regardless, she was still a bitch and only cared about her appearance and popularity. Eventually, she would become the most popular girl in school. But right now, that person was Tiffany Sanders.
The Spanish class itself went on without much problem. And the same was true for his next class Economics.
When it was time for lunch, he walked to the lunch room, getting met halfway there by Kyla, his "new" best friend.
