When Jon got home, he immediately went to his room, passing his sister Zoe in the hallway on his way there. She was wearing the outfit that Karyn had been wearing that day: a tight pink T-shirt, a denim miniskirt, and open-toe 4-inch stiletto heels. She had an assortment of bracelets on her wrists and large loop earrings dangling from her earlobes.

"What are you staring at?" she said, her face twisting in a bit of disgust.

"Nothing. Um, when did you get back from the hospital?" Jon asked, figuring that in this reality Zoe had been the one to get poisoned, since she was now the popular girl bitch.

"What are you talking about? Why would I be in a hospital?"

Jon guessed he was wrong. "Never mind." He went straight to his room and shut the door behind him. Through the wall, he heard generic teen pop music. He also heard girls' voices. Zoe must have had some friends over.

He tried to concentrate as he did his homework. It wasn't easy. Zoe and her vapid air-headed friends were making it difficult for him. About an hour or so later, they finally left the house and Jon had some alone time.

The fact was, Jon was tired and he decided to just go to bed early.

He wasn't sure if he was really looking forward to the next day. A week's duration for his "experiment" didn't seem like a lot of time, but it felt like forever and it had only been a little over two days so far.

He layed back on his bed and slowly drifted to sleep.
