Jon and Sarah had a blast. It was probably one of the most fun times of Jon's life and he wasn't exaggerating. Sarah was just like the original Karyn, but for some reason, she was more energetic. They went to see a movie at the mall's cineplex, then they grabbed a couple of corndogs at The Doggie Stand in the mall's foodcourt. Jon never thought he would ever have such a great time hanging out with Sarah McMillan.
They were walking through the mall when suddenly everything stopped.
No! I'm having a good time, Jon thought to himself, as he watched Sarah disappear and get replaced by Kyla, who was wearing the clothes Sarah was just wearing. The green sweater, worn jeans, and sneakers.
After a few more seconds, time resumed.
"Jon?" Kyla asked. "Are you okay? You look pale. What's wrong?"
Jon took a deep breath and said "It's nothing. I'm okay."
Kyla smiled. "Well, if you're okay, then we can keep shopping."
Jon reluctantly went with her. He already missed Sarah.
