Jon was astonished by Sarah's pick for lunch. The original Sarah McMillan always ate "healthy" foods (like salad), probably to keep her sexy figure. But this Sarah chose to have a greasy slice of pepperoni pizza and french fries. Pizza was one of the original Karyn's favorite foods, and now it seemed that it was also a favorite of the "new" Sarah.
As they walked to their table, Jon glanced around the lunch room, as he did the previous day. He saw Karyn making out with Biff Meadows, which made him sick. She should be doing that with me, Jon thought. Then it occured to him that he would actually like having Karyn as his girlfriend, the normal Karyn, that is. He just never thought about it, until he saw Biff cramming his tongue down her throat.
On the other side of the room, he saw Zoe snorting with laughter at the geeks' table. Even after seeing her for the last two days (with Karyn's and Kyla's personalities), it was still weird to hear her laughing. He didn't think he could get used to it.
And at the back of the room, Jon saw Kyla eating with her Goth friends Sabrina and Stephanie. They huddled together, trying to ignore the people around them. Occasionally, when people walked by, Kyla lifted her head slightly and shot them an irritated glance.
Jon and Sarah sat down and began to eat their meals.
