Jon woke up, not seeing anything different when he looks around, he decides to go through his normal morning routine. However before heading down for breakfast, he noticed a pamphlet on his desk, he immediately hoped on his phone to see what it was about. What he discovered was, interesting, to say the least.
The wish seemed to work retroactively, and the result was Swap Tech Inc. the pioneers of body swap technology. While they are not the only company, they cornered the initial creation for the market, now they got special permission to keep the market under the point that if the technology gets out a lot of damage could be done. Swap clinics have, apparently, been out around for a few years, but they were only in major cities at the time.
Now there was also Swap class, where students from high school or higher education, with certain collages having rules for what classes you can and can't take alongside it. As it stands there are a few rules in all swap classes, 1) Don't damage you're bodies or their reputation, this can either cause you to lose your body or get an immediately returned to their body and get punished. Notably, having consensual sex while in a virgin body is currently set around coercion into sex, or just straight up R*pe if the body loses its virginity.
Swap-ports are like airports, but instead you swap with someone in another city or country. You can choose who knows if you've been swapped, they also have the ability to keep the bodies language from swapping out, making it so you will speak in the same language and accent, that way you won't be left unable to talk while in a different country. Similar rules like with swap class exist, though release forms can be signed to allow for certain privileges.
There was also swap therapy, where people with physical medical conditions can get body swapped with people that either are signed up as a job, who keep their body in shape for when the swaps occur, or people who are in a vegetative state, though that is currently theoretical as most need surgery to allow a viable mind in it. This also includes emergency swaps, where someone who is critical condition gets swapped with a body that is uninjured but the mind is unviable or they don't care what happens to the persons mind such as those on death row.
On top of it all, Swap Challenges and jobs also exist, these vary wildly and the pay or rewards are really good.
Looking at everything, this definitely constitutes as interesting, but it's been thirty minutes and he needs to get breakfast.
