I kinda thought it might be cute (and do hope that, regardless of what path we take, my actions weren't nearly as ham-handed as the one where I had Harriet show Lilly's class magic). If it doesn't work, it's fine, too. I hope my approach wasn't a bother. :)
Plus I wanted to add something of a detail: The gods growing more willing to care. :) As in, Selene/Neruite knows this girl suffered a lot and was basically made to be a soldier, and so she decided to do one of the great themes on my side: gods 'coming down' to help the little guy. :)
Now, to specify: This IS, yes, Neruite/Selene visiting Melanie's dream world, as you said for - seemingly - your least-interference option. So, it's the form where the least power is spent and, yes, where there is the least interference.
There were no higher spheres involved when Neruite/Selene saved Lucas either: Lucas' hell was in her own mind.
