After gym class was over, Jon went to his final class of the day, which was World History. As he walked in, he saw Karyn sitting in her usual seat, not looking so usual, thanks to Jon's personality-swapping wish. Even after all this time, he still couldn't believe how different she was. He never imagined her ever being like this, although he supposed that with different circumstances in someone's life, everyone could turn out differently.
She looked up from her desk and shyly smiled. This was the first time Jon noticed the retainer in her mouth.
He sat down in his seat and waited for the rest of the students to arrive. A few minutes after Mr. Wilson began teaching, Kyla and Sarah walked in and took their seats.
Kyla had a smug look on her face, as she probably thought that her behavior in the lunch room was perfectly appropriate. Sarah looked even more reserved than she did before. She was brooding.
The class proceeded without incident and when class was over, everyone left without any problems. Fortunately.
