As they walked to the next store, Jon saw a girl he knew from school. It was Erica Weber, one of Sarah McMillan's closest friends. But there was something odd about her. She looked more like a tomboy than anything else. It was such a turnoff. If she weren't dressed like a boy, she could look really cute.
But then realization came to Jon. Erica was different because of his wish, the one that swapped the personalities between his family and Sarah and her friends. And judging from what she was wearing, Jon deduced that Erica must have gotten his original personality.
Jon's family kept walking to the next store, but Jon stood his ground. His attention was diverted, for the moment.
He watched as another girl (Ashley Thompson) joined up with Erica. Ashley was wearing the type of clothes Mikey used to wear. She looked utterly ridiculous in them. And she couldn't seem to stay still. She kept on dashing around, making childish noises, just like Mikey used to do when he played around.
"Erica," a girl said.
Jon turned and saw Karyn walk by. She approached Erica, then they began to talk to each other. Were they friends now?
Jon got a little closer to hear what they were saying.
