Now that all the commotion was done, Jon's mother walked back into her room.
After shutting the door, she noticed the wishing stone sitting on her nightstand, exactly where she wished it would go if someone tried to use it for evil reasons. She had given it to Zoe, because she had trusted her with it, but maybe that trust was misplaced? It didn't seem possible. Her daughter didn't seem capable of making a wish to hurt someone, it just wasn't in her nature. She was such a sweet kid. But Jon, on the other hand ... he was nothing but a problem child. Always fighting and cussing. He used to be so nice when he was younger. How did he ever turn into such a wicked boy?
She shook her head and grabbed the stone, wondering if maybe she should make some wishes to improve her son's life. Unfortunately, she had no idea that a wish had caused Jon to be Goth and that his situation might not be able to be altered.
