After Jon walked downstairs (he discovered how much he loved wearing those boots), he spotted his dad in the living room. He was dressed in what looked like one of his mom's lavender jogging suits, folding laundry while watching a soap opera on TV. It was pretty obvious that his dad now had his mom's personality.
His dad looked up at him, as he saw Jon coming into the living room. "Hey, sweetie," he said, in a comically effeminate manner.
"Don't you ever fucking call me that again," Jon found himself saying. He never meant to snap like that at his dad, but ever since he took on Zoe's personality, he had felt more and more aggressive.
"Jon," his father snapped, putting his hands on his hips. "Watch your language."
Jon was about to say something, but stopped himself. He had more important things to do than argue with his dad over something trivial. He had to find that stone, and he had to find it now ... before someone else used it.
