Jon put his ear up to Zoe's bedroom door and listened in on their conversation.
"You still going to Trevor's party tonight?" Zoe asked.
"Are you kidding me? Of course I am," Sarah answered. "What about you?"
"Yeah."
"But not looking like that you aren't," Sarah said.
"What do you mean?"
"Zoe, you need a major makeover. It looks like you're wearing rags."
Jon sighed. Typical Sarah. Even when she was a Goth, she still needed to give fashion advice.
"Take Athena for a moment. All those dresses and corset ensembles she wears? That girl has style. You should dress more like her."
"I'm not dressing like Athena."
"Whatever. Your loss."
Jon sighed again. Sarah always thought she was right about everything. It seemed that she kept that attribute of her original personality as well. Truthfully, Jon wasn't sure that Sarah could have both her own personality and Zoe's. He figured that they would clash. But as it seemed so far ...
Jon halted his thoughts. All he heard was silence. Why weren't they talking?
Suddenly, the door opened and Jon fell forward onto the floor.
"I told you I heard something," Sarah said. "It's your fucking brother."
Zoe towered over Jon. "Why the fuck are you spying on us?!"
