Jon stood there, uncertain how to respond. He should have expected something like this, but it was still hard to react when a girl as attractive as Sarah showed up at his front door. He didn't look much different than before, sure, but back then she was always acting so arrogant and aloof. Now, however
"You going to make me stand out here or what?" Sarah asked good naturedly.
"Oh, yeah, sorry," Jon said, admitting Sarah inside. The two climbed the stairs to Jon's room, and after the door was closed Sarah turned to Jon with a smile.
"So, you going to let me use the stone?" she asked.
This question Jon was not prepared for. It was fairly easy to accept that if Sarah's personality was more like Karyn's, she might be friends with Jon. But he had not expected that he would have ever told Sarah about the stone, even a half Karyn Sarah.
Jon recovered and went to respond. "I'm not sure that's such a good idea, Sarah " he said hesitantly.
"Oh, come on! You let Karyn use it, why not me?" Sarah replied.
Jon wondered just how much the new Sarah knew. "Right, but Karyn messed up her wish, remember?"
"Come on, I'm not going to pull some dumb mistake. Besides, if you let her use it and not me, I might get a little jealous " she said, with a mischievous smile.
"Jealous?"
"Well sure," Sarah said, walking up to Jon. "I mean, if you trust other girl more than you trust your girlfriend, that's a little suspicious, wouldn't you say?"
Jon tried not to look as shocked as he felt. Sarah, his girlfriend? That was quite a lot coming from a seemingly simple wish.
