Jon looked over at Mikey's shelf and saw many sports-related awards and ribbons (most of which had to do with junior-league soccer). He didn't think a ten-year old boy could accumulate that many. As Jon looked at them, Mikey used a towel to wipe off his sweat.
"Soccer?" Jon said to himself. "I thought it would be football." And why wouldn't it be? Biff was the captain of the school football team, in the previous reality.
Mikey overheard Jon and said "I wish. But, they don't have football in elementary school, Jon."
"Oh yeah. Of course." Jon deduced that since elementary school kids couldn't play football, Mikey picked another sport that fulfilled his dream of being an athlete.
"Are you gonna come and watch me play tomorrow?" he asked.
"Tomorrow?"
"Jon, you know that tomorrow is the big game. I really wish you'd come. Maybe you could bring Karyn with you." And then, in a lower voice and with a sly smile, he added "You know she's pretty hot. I bet you have a lot of fun with her."
That last statement was definitely from Biff's personality. But it was still weird hearing it come from Mikey, who just that morning had said that girls were "icky".
