Plus, maybe there's something to that "time" thing. If Mikey and Becca find out time actually stopped, it could be big. Especially because, if the lack-of-memory effect happened to other robots and digital-based lifeforms, Mikey would end up telling the people online why, and the news that time stopped might spread like wildfire, giving Hawkins and Cecilia(1) some HUGE problems to deal with...
(1) - (And maybe Lucas, but that's unlikely; while she won't tell people, that's much more due to fear of being seen as crazy and out of respect for Hawkins; she doesn't care about people knowing so long as the moon thing is kept secret. And Hawkins would be smart enough to figure Lucas didn't have anything to do with that leak anyways.)
