Sarah covered herself with her hands as best she could. How could I have worn such a thing? It is so ... revealing ... she thought. If I was ever seen by ... seen by ... Seen by who? She remembered that everyone she knew (her family, her friends) pushed her to dress just like this. But for some reason, she felt like someone might scold or even punish her for wearing something to revealing. She just couldn't think of who that could be.
"Are we done here?" Kamiko asked the doctor. "Cause I've gotta go." She just had to do something about her wardrobe problem.
"Yes, you're done," the doctor told them both. "Just remember to record your thoughts using the recorders we gave you."
And with that, Kamiko rushed out of the room. Next stop - the mall.
"Absolutely brilliant, Doctor," Amber said, apparently pleased. She observed the entire process. "I can already see the difference in their personalities." Although she apparently couldn't see the difference in her own, or maybe she did but didn't want to acknowledge it.
Sarah looked over at Amber. The machine didn't do anything to her, did it? It was true that she didn't really feel like herself, but she didn't really have someone else's personality, did she?
