While Karyn was playing hide-and-seek with Jon, the door opened again and Jon's 7-year old cousin Sally walked through.
She looked oddly towards Karyn and Jon, as they bounced around and giggled. She remembered herself enjoying games like that, but now it all seemed so childish. She was much more mature than that. Except ... she wasn't. She was still only seven. Why did it feel like she was supposed to be older?
Mikey approached her, after he saw her looking at Karyn and Jon oddly. Truth be told, he was looking at Karyn and Jon the same way. "Hi, Sally."
