After Jon finally came downstairs and grabbed a seat at the table, a wave of revulsion hit him again.

"Does the freak have to eat with us?" Jon asked his mom.

"Jon, don't be so mean. She's your sister," his mom said.

"Don't remind me," Jon said, bitterly.

Zoe shot him a look, then sat down at the table quietly. Dinner seemed to go well, for the most part, until Zoe was done with her first piece of chicken. She grabbed a second piece out of the family bucket and Jon noticed this.

With a sly smile, Jon said "Jeez, Zoe. Going to eat the whole bucket? Is the 'fat tub' look 'in' this year for freaks?"

This was the boiling point, it seemed. Zoe shot back. "Fuck you, Jon!" she snapped loudly.

"Zoe!" their mom yelled. "Watch your language."

"Hey, you can't talk to me like that, you freak!" Jon yelled back, suddenly going from smug to angry.

"Whatever, you fucking fag!" Zoe said, storming off to her room.

For a second, Jon looked like he was about to explode, but then he suddenly regained his composure. Putting on Sarah's trademark smirk again, he went back to finishing his food. "God, it's such a shame," he said to no one in particular. "She could be so cute if she just stopped eating like a pig and started dressing like a normal person."

"Jon, that's enough!" his mom yelled.

He looked up at her, stunned. How dare she yell at him! Who did she think she was?

But then, like a tidal wave hitting him, Jon realized how badly he had been acting during dinner. If he hadn't retained his memories of the previous reality, he might not have stopped. Suddenly, he felt ashamed of the way he was acting, especially towards his sister. But the truth was, when he was doing it, it was fun. He actually had fun.

He couldn't believe that he had to stay this way for a week. A week! What was he thinking when he made that wish?

Jon looked around the table at Mikey and his mom and dad, then said he was sorry and asked if he could leave the table. His mom gave him permission, so he went back to his room.

But on his way, mean thoughts started to return, as he passed that freak's bedroom.
