Jon wondered who his friends were now. With the stone, he could easily find out. But he had wished that the stone be unusable until he and Zoe switched back, so that option was out.
He picked up his cell phone. Jon kept his friends' phone numbers in his cell, like Karyn and Tim. But as he scrolled through the numbers, he saw that Karyn's and Tim's weren't there. He had already discovered that Karyn was now best friends with Zoe. Apparently, he was no longer friends with Tim either.
Some of the names that did show up were: Stephanie (who Jon assumed was Stephanie Wright, a Goth girl who was in some of his classes at school), Sabrina (Jon assumed that was Sabrina Johnson, a Goth girl who he used to have a crush on back in middle school), and Trevor (that must have been Trevor Blake, a Goth boy who Jon barely knew). He scrolled further through the list, seeing names he couldn't identify. He also noticed that Zoe's former friends (Athena and Zelda) weren't on the list. He thought that was odd, since Jon's former friend Karyn was now Zoe's best friend.
