After knocking on the door, it opened revealing an attractive Goth girl with jet-black hair, wearing a black T-shirt under a black leather under-bust corset, a black ripped miniskirt, fishnet stockings, and black buckled boots with three-inch stacks. Her black make-up wasn't overly done like Sabrina's and she had many less piercings, but she still had at least two noticeable tattoos. This was Stephanie Wright.
"Hi, Sabrina," she said, then she looked at Jon. For a moment, he felt like she wouldn't know him, but then she smiled. "Hi, Jon. Come on in."
They walked into Stephanie's house, which didn't really look any different than any other house Jon had been in. Until they entered Stephanie's bedroom, that was.
It definitely belonged to a Goth girl. It reminded Jon of how his sister's used to be before the swap, but Stephanie seemed to be more interested in the concept of "death" than the occult. She had an eerie wallpaper pattern of tombstones and a lot of skulls scattered around her room.
She took off her corset and shirt, then swapped them for a nylon shirt underneath a black T-shirt with an image of a white skull printed on the front. She looked up at Jon and got a funny look on her face.
"What?"
"The moment I saw you, I knew there was something strange about you," Stephanie said.
For a moment, Jon thought he had been caught, although he had no idea how that could be possible. He was sure that she knew he wasn't supposed to be a Goth.
But then she said "You're not wearing a corset."
"Huh?"
"You can borrow one of mine," she said, reaching into her closet and pulling one out.
"Uh ... okay," Jon said. He did think he'd look good in one. But he didn't want to put one on there. He was hoping he'd do it at home, by himself. Apparently, in this reality he always wore them. But he had no idea how to put one on.
Stephanie handed him the corset.
