Meanwhile, back at the mall food court, Zoe had used the stone to find out where Jon went.
"Well? Where did you send him?" Karyn said.
"I didn't send him there. The stone did."
"Okay, whatever. Where did he go?"
"The Spiked Pit. It's that Goth club ..."
"Yeah, I've heard of it." She paused for a second. "So that's his favorite place, huh? He really is a freak."
Zoe didn't say anything to that. Instead, she said "We need to find him."
"Why don't we just wish to know how he knows about the stone?" Karyn asked.
"I was thinking of doing that. But I want to help him too." This was Zoe's chance to make Jon "normal". But what she didn't realize was that Jon was "normal" up until he swapped personalities with her.
She held the stone in her hand, about to make her wish.
Unfortunately, Sarah was spying on them. She was spying on Zoe earlier in the day when she was showing the stone to Karyn. And she continued to spy on them now. Sarah wanted that stone. And she chose this moment as her chance to steal it.
She ran over to Zoe. She wanted to grab it and run. But Zoe was grasping onto it, since she was making her wish.
"I wish we'd go to where Jon went." The stone glowed. Then Zoe, Karyn, and Sarah all disappeared from the mall and reappeared in the middle of the club The Spiked Pit.
