As Jon's effeminate dad went downstairs, the front door opened and in walked Jon's mom.
"Jane," Jon's father said. "I'm going out shopping. There are, like, no clothes upstairs for me to wear," he said, with a girlish tone that Jon still found very funny.
Jon's mother shrugged. "Okay, but be back before dinner."
Suddenly, he wondered how his parents got together, since his father was obviously gay. He took the stone out of his pocket and said in a low voice (so no one could hear) "I wish I knew how my parents met and got married."
The stone glowed and suddenly it came to him.
