Putting the rock in his pocket, Jon stepped out of his room and walked downstairs to see the results of his wish. Instead of finding his mom downstairs though, he saw his dad, dressed in what looked like one of his mom's lavender jogging suits, folding laundry while watching a soap opera on tv. He supposed that it was his mother that went out and worked to pay the bills now.
His dad looked up at him as he saw Jon come down the stairs. "Hey sweetie, how was school today?" he asked in a comically effeminate manner.
"Oh, it was ok... dad." Jon replied. He figured his dad was probably gay as all hell now. But then he wondered about why his parents got together. He grabbed a drink in the kitchen and walked back up to his room. He pulled out the rock and said "I wish I knew how my parents met and got married."
The stone glowed and suddenly it came to him. He was right about their being gay, but they were still very close friends. Apparently they had gotten married to each other so they could get the legal benefits. His mom had been artificially inseminated and both of his parents had other lovers that they saw on the side.
"Whoa, that's a lot of changes for something I thought was just a small wish. I really do need to be careful with this thing," Jon said to himself. Still, it hadn't been as crazy a wish as he thought it would be. "Well, I suppose I can do better," he said, holding up the stone again.
"I wish..."
