After Karyn came over, Jon explained what he wanted to do.
"So, if you wish that I switched personalities with Sarah, then I would act like Sarah?"
"I think so. And your whole life would change to match that new reality," Jon said.
"Can I try it out first?" Karyn asked.
"Sure." He gave her the stone. Then she immediately sprinted out of the room and locked herself in the bathroom down the hall. She could hear Jon pounding on the bathroom door.
"Karyn! I wanted to do this together! It's only fair!" he yelled.
But Karyn didn't feel like being fair. She wanted some fun. "I wish that for the next seven days Jon would swap personalities with ..."
