After the wish was granted, Jon decided to go see Zoe, to see how much had changed.
The first major thing was something he noticed before he even got to her room. Her heavy metal music had changed to generic teen pop music.
He opened her door and was shocked at the results of his wish. Posters of heavy metal bands were replaced with posters of boy bands and pop stars. Skulls were replaced by makeup and perfume. And other occult objects were replaced with a CD player and boy band CD's.
Zoe was lying on her bed, wearing a white halter top and pink underwear, her legs bent up in the air, talking on the phone. Her hair was back to it's natural light brown color and she didn't even resemble a Goth anymore.
"I am, like, so going out with him again. Really!"
Then a pause, as she listened to the person on the other end.
"Well, duh. He's only the captain of the football team. What a hunk, you know?"
Zoe's going out with Biff? Jon thought. Biff Meadows was the top athlete at school, but he was also a womanizer. Jon wasn't totally sure that his sister should date someone like that. But, Jon supposed, it's not like the old Goth Zoe didn't date bad choices too.
Jon closed her door and went back to his room. "I wonder what happened to Sarah?"
