Karyn went home soon after; she explained to Jon that she wanted to gather up some stuff before they tried using the gifting funnels on anyone else. Jon agreed, thinking that he might also be able to dig up some interesting things that they could use.

The next evening, Karyn and Jon were sitting in Jon's room, giggling over the pile of items on his bed. Karyn had been worried about how much money they had spent on some of the things, but Jon reassured her that they could simply wish for some money in a few minutes when Karyn's last wish (that the stone couldn't be used for 24 hours) expired. In the meantime, they ran through the inventory of their items:

Several sets of clothing and underwear, including children's clothes, plus-size clothes, underwear, panties, and bras in several sizes

A package of adult diapers

Several packages of condoms, including novelty condoms in ridiculously tiny and ridiculously large sizes

A pair of giant clown shoes

Several bottles of hair removal products

A collection of DVDs including several self-help videos, numerous workout videos, and many strange fetish porn videos

A large box of pet grooming items

A box of assorted dildos and vibrators

A box of exercise equipment

A bag of assorted over-the-counter medicines, including wart creams, lubricants, weight loss pills, and various naturopathic supplements guaranteed to cure a range of incurable ailments

A large box of prosthetics, including wigs, breast forms, glass eyes, artificial limbs, and false teeth

"This will be interesting," said Karyn, "but we're not sure how this affects perception or memory yet."

"Sorry?" Jon asked.

"Well, when we were messing around yesterday, we knew what changes had happened as soon as they were made. Is that because we were in the room when it happened? I think we should try a couple of experiments first."

"Hmm, that sounds sensible," said Jon.
