Karyn was hysterical, right before her eyes Jons body was glowing a bright dangerous red. Since he was the one with the wishing rock she didn't know what she would do if something bad happened to Jon. He also seemed to be unaware of the light coming off of him as Zoe was.
The glow became louder and she watched as red bolt of electricity shot out and zipped across the street towards the young girl neighbors yard. She covered her eyes and didn't see clearly what he was being swapped with. Her vision was covered by red spots and quickly opened them trying and failing to find Jon.
She looked over to where the red bolt of light struck and gasped. Over in the yard across the street there was Jon, wearing the same clothes and looked exactly like him, only it looked like he was made out of plastic.
Karyn ran through the street towards Jons prone plastic form and kneeled before it. It looked exactly like Jon except for the cheesy plastic grin it had on his face, it even had his old grungy clothes.
Karyn was scared, he wasnt moving or showing any signs of life. She put her head to his chest, feeling nothing but smooth hard plastic and hearing no heartbeat whatsoever. She began to panic and cry while pounding on his chest, hoping that it would rouse him awake.
After a few minutes of pounding the plastic Jon's chest she collapsed on top of it. Her sobbing continued until a very shrill shout from across the way interupted her.
"KARYN!" It was Zoe, and by the look on her young girlish face, she was furious. She was stomping her little feet across the yard and across the street.
Karyn continued to cry when Zoe finally reached her. She looked up at the angry little girl and blubbered some incomprehensible words that Zoe couldn't make out.
"What is wrong with you!...Where did you take Jonnie! what have you done to her!" Such a loud voice yelled from such a tiny body.
Karyn in her distress didn't comprehend her words clearly and continued to cry while saying.
"He's right here!...Oh god...what have I done!" as she pointed and then pounded on the plastic lifeless Jon Doll.
Zoe looked to where Zoe was pointing, Karyn was surprised when Zoe lifted the Jon doll and looked underneath it, around it all around the yard, under rocks and the gutters.
"What is your issue woman!, I went to go check on Jonnie in her house and I find it empty without any warning or note of where she left and you're out acting like a blubbering idiot! I swear if you've done anything to her I'll..." Karyn cut her off, confused and worried.
"What are you talking about....her? I ...Jon he was ...and the device, and the...his grandpas rock...we made a wish...and my breasts" Karyn was loosing it and to Zoe she was just speaking utter gibberish.
"Uggh...I dont know what Jonnie sees in you, you're such a Bimbo. I'm going to use her GPS and if I find one hair on her head harmed, you'll seriously regret it" The gothic little girl warned furiously.
She pulled out a cell phone from her pocket and opened an app, it showed a map of the neighborhood and the street they were on and what looked like something from a sci-fi film. A radar like interface showed up on the screen and Zoe proceeded to follow it.
"She's....In the front yard?" Zoe shouted in a fit. She then ran as fast as her little legs could towards her front yard and stared down at the ground.
Karyn, still in a haggard state silently followed Zoe. Taking a lingering glance at the plastic form of Jon before reaching the Madisons yard.
"Oh My god....Jonnie...what are you doing out here!?, You could have been hurt...how did you get out here!?" Zoe pronounced as she bent down and coddled something out of Karyn's sight.
Karyns curiosity was winning over her despair at this point and wonder what exactly Zoe was going on about. Zoe turned to face her, surprised by the increadible look of malice on her young cherub like face. She was cradling what seemed to be a barbie doll wearing a yellow sundress and heels.
Karyn was shocked when the doll began to move it's head and shoulders in a lifelike manner and motioned with it's arms to come closer. Karyn numbly stepped forward.
"Stop right there Bitch!" Zoe spat as she held "Jonnie" tighter to her body.
Karyn stood motionless and speechless. Zoe looked downward and seemed to have a silent conversation with the Doll woman before letting lose a large sigh and approaching Karyn. Her face softening a little.
"I'm...sorry a I yelled at you...Jonnie said you were just doing what she told you and honestly forgot to leave a note...I'm still pissed but...dont let it happen again" Zoe warned and motioned for Karyn to open her arms.
Zoe deposited the doll woman in her hands. She felt so lifelike and soft, like an actual tiny person.
"Be careful out here Jonnie, I know you love to explore but it's dangerous in your condition. There are awful people and animals out here that could seriously hurt you" Zoe chided towards the tiny girl in karyns arms.
"Yes Mom..."
Karyn shook, that was Jon's voice. It was that same sarcastic tone he saved for whenever he and Karyn would joke around, and it came from the tiny girl she held in her arms.
"Whatever..." Zoe said flippantly, her old gothic attitude returning over her worry. She grinned at "Jonnie" and walked back inside.
Karyn stared in awe at the woman in her arms, she looked like something out of a fantasy. She was far from being a pixy or a fairy, her frame being far too bottom and top heavy for wings. She was just a tiny doll like woman.
And then it all made sense to her, the life size Jon doll in the neighbors yard and the tiny form in her hands.
"Jon?" she asked looking down.
"yeah?" The woman said from her hands.
"What happened to you?" as karyn lifted "Jon" from underneath her shoulders and brought her to eye level.
"What are you talking about? One minute we were talking in my room about the wishing stone and the next I'm out here on the sidewalk scared out of my mind...I lied to Zoe about what happened but...well you wouldn't like to see her when she's really really angry. I know she's not that intimidating but to me it's scary" Jon rambled.
"What do you mean in your room? dont you remember the Role Swapper gun?" Karyn asked worriedly.
"What gun? Karyn you didn't make a wish did you? You said you wouldn't make any more wishes unless we both agreed on it" Jon's tiny face frowned.
Karyn's heart rate began to escalate again. It seemed Jon thought the way he was as normal and that he never made a wish about the Role Swapper device, however it's affects were weighing heavy on her thoughts. If she were ever to be caught up in the red glow how ever would she remember her true self?. If it could do this Jon and erase the memories of the Role Swapper what could it do to her, she would never notice anything wrong.
"No...I...It's nothing" Karyn stuttered to the small woman.
"Err Karyn...sorry to bother you...but I really need to go the bathroom...so can you carry me home?" Jon muttered while blushing in Karyn's arms.
She stared down at Jon in her hands, he was shifting his bare svelte legs back and forth, doing a "Pee dance" in her hands.
"Err uh...yeah..." She muttered and walked inside his house.
