This time the color of the sky was red. As soon as it happened, Emily's body merged with the body of the saleswoman.
The woman was gone. There was no reason to keep the front door open, so Charlie closed it.
He slowly walked to a mirror, fearing at what he would find. And when he saw his new body, he discovered that it wasn't as bad, but his appearance was certainly unusual.
Emily now had a darker shade of blonde hair, compared to her previous black hair. Her eyes was light brown, a combination of Emily's brown and the saleswoman's hazel. Emily's figure was certainly slimmer than before, although the baby bump was just as prominent as before. She was now wearing a dark green blazer and white blouse that loosely fits over the bump. Underneath was a dark grey skirt hitting about knee length. Caressing his legs was a set of lighter grey leggings, although they felt a bit too loose that they might as well be a set of thin pants. Overall, his current outfit was a mash between Emily's loose maternity clothes and the saleswoman's business suit.
Emily's new appearance was barely recognizable from her original look, as it was also a combination between Emily's soft features and the woman's sharper ones. From previous experience, reality would shift to fit this new woman, but what was Emily's role now. Was she still a saleswoman or some other position? Was she supposed to work today? Unfortunately, no one was here to help him.
