This time the color of the sky was brown. The man from the white room talked about this one, but Charlie had yet to experience it. As soon as it happened, Charlie was overwhelmed by an intense tickling sensation. As he laughed uncontrollably, he watched as Emily's fingers shorten to form stubby paws and numerous strands of hair start emerging from her skin, producing a light pink fur 'coat'. Her nostrils grew and pointed outwards to form a more prominent snout.
The saleswoman, initially glancing at her pamphlet, looked up to witness the transformation. "Are you...ok, miss?"
Charlie looked down at himself, seeing the bizarre transformation that had just occurred. Unknown to him, the brown sky caused him to partially take on the attributes of whatever animal was the saleswoman's favorite, which was a pig.
"I have something to attend to now. I'm sorry that I'm not interested in your kitchenware," Charlie replied, with a strong nasal sound to complement his words.
The saleswoman simply nodded and turned away. It was clear that she felt somewhat creeped out by Charlie's appearance.
After slamming the door, he ran to the nearest mirror. Emily was still pregnant, that part hadn't changed, but all of her skin was covered with light pink fur. Emily's shoes slipped off easily, as they only loosely fit her current stubby legs. Looking closer, Charlie saw little pig ears protruding from the top of Emily's head.
She was a monster.
