"Let's see if this works!" With the remote in hand Jon fired at his mother in the kitchen. He then quickly walked to the living room and aimed at the television. At this moment Mikey had been watching cartoons when the beam struck the TV. After a large flash Jon looked to the TV that surprisingly the same, but something about what Mikey was watching was different. Now it seemed to be a live action cooking show, something you'd see on the food network. He couldn't recognize the star, and figured it to be a random person. Jon and Karyn walked to the kitchen to see the other side of the exchange.
In the kitchen was quite the sight. Jon's mother had been converted into a real life cartoon. She was literally a 3D cartoon woman still making breakfast as usual. Nothing else changed however, she was just a caricature of her former self. The 35 year old animated woman seemed much faster as she was almost bouncing around the kitchen assembling breakfast. When she was done she pulled out a musical triangle from her pocket and started to ring it.
"Breeeeeakfast Tiiiiiiime!" She said incredibly loud and cheerful.
Jon and Karyn decided to eat.
