A little earlier:
"So what's the plan?" Karyn asked DTH Jon. They had just heard Sage Jon head down the stairs.
"Assuming that he," DTH Jon pointed downwards referring to Sage Jon, "smooths things out with Zoe, I'll try and find somewhere to send him." He said pointing at Prisoner Jon who was still sitting quietly on the floor.
"And how are we going to do that exactly?" Asked Karyn.
"I was thinking of using ARD Jon. I need to know more about how the ARD works to be sure." Karyn took a deep breath.
"We're not exactly his favourite people." She said.
"I know. We'll go meet up with a different version of him. There will be no animosity then."
Athena had been listening in on this conversation. Her curiosity was piqued. "What happened to piss him off?" She asked. Karyn responded.
"Another version of Jon with a DTH stole clothes and money off him. He blamed him." Karyn explained as she pointed at Jon.
"Don't get the wrong impression." Jon said to Athena. "I compensated him for that even though it wasn't actually my fault." Athena nodded. Jon turned back to Karyn. "I was thinking of the one we dropped off at his house after our first visit to Zoe's world." Karyn remembered him.
"Sounds good. Go for it."
Presently Sage Jon and Zoe had came back inside. They were heading back to DTH Jon's room. They were just passing the front door as it opened. DTH Jon's Zoe walked in completely unprepared for the sight in front of her. A girl who looked a lot like her who was wearing what looked like one of her dresses. It was taking a while for her brain to process. She stood open mouthed, in the door way, staring at her counterpart.
Sage Jon with his quicker reaction times took full advantage of the situation. He practically pushed Zoe up the stairs.
Barely ten seconds later they rushed into DTH Jon's bedroom. Sage Jon spun round and bolted the door.
"Ah, you're back." Said DTH Jon, wondering why they had entered so quickly. "Are we good?" He asked Zoe. She nodded twice.
"Yeah, yeah." She said rapidly.
"We might have a small issue." Sage Jon admitted.
Bang! Bang! Bang! came a loud thump on the door. "Jon, open the door!" Zoe said from the other side. DTH Jon lifted his hand and put his face in his palm.
"Sorry, we nearly managed it." Sage Jon informed him. DTH Jon pulled out the DTH.
"I guess that is our cue to leave." He said holding his hand up. Everyone grabbed it except Sage Jon.
"I can hear you talking in there." Zoe shouted.
Sage Jon gave him a serious look. "I'll stay here. Once you've sorted all this out, you have to return here. It's imperative, we have important matters to discuss." Sage Jon told him in a sombre voice.
"That was the plan anyway." Karyn told him.
"I just wanted to make your exit a bit more dramatic." He said with a grin. There was another series of thumps on the door.
Zoe shouted again. "Open this fu–" Was all the travellers heard before they hopped.
