The lobby is warm and inviting, A stone fireplace roars in a lounge area on one side. 3 circular tables with 3 chairs each are on the lobby's other side. Along with the tables, there is a self-serve station for coffee, tea and pastries. A man looking to be in his mid-30's is reading a magazine by the fire. He is wearing a black, Orient inspired robe with green trim. He does not look away from his reading. When David turns his attention forward again, a woman who was not there before is standing behind the service counter. She has strawberry blonde hair pulled up into a tight sock bun. Her top is a white, long sleeved collared shirt beneath a dark green vest. Her name tag says, "Lucy."
"May I help you?" Lucy asks with a bright smile and cheerful tone.
David pulls a damp paper from his coat pocket and unfolds it as he approaches the counter. "Yes," David replies while placing the paper in front of Lucy. "I was given this at a.. Umm, support meeting last week."
Lucy keeps her wide smile while looking over the paper. It is an ad, at the very top in bold black lettering it says, "Are you lost? We can help!" Beneath that is a stock picture of a man and woman holding a large green orb with the facility name written on that in stylized log like lettering. A short blurb is under the photo, "Life can be filled with chaos and cause us to get lost. At Sheppard Lake Sanctuary, we quiet the chaos by handing our worries and problems over to a higher power. Come, join us and discover your true self." At the bottom there is no email, web site or phone number, just an address.
David pulls out his wallet, "I would like to join, how much?"
Lucy lays the paper down and with her cheerful tone replies, "we do not require a monetary payment, just a promise that you are committed to our process." Lucy reaches under her counter and pulls out a form. "Please, fill this out while I arrange a room for you."
David takes the paper and goes to one of the tables to fill it out. It just asks basic questions like his name, age and so on. At the bottom, there is a space for him to write his reason for joining The Sanctuary. In this space, David writes, " 2 years ago, my self indulgent and destructive behavior led to the loss of my wife and daughter. Since then, I have tried everything to improve myself and get them back. Thus far, nothing has worked, this is my last chance." After completing the form, David looks up to see Lucy standing next to him. Due to the counter, he had not noticed the lower half of her uniform. A black, knee length skirt paired with black heels and beige hose with black seams. David smiles while noticing the similarities to Lucy's uniform and the ones worn by the Christmas party servers. "I am in the right place," he says internally."
"You will be is room #7," Lucy says with a warm smile. David rises from his seat and takes the key while giving Lucy his form. After looking it over for a moment, Lucy smiles and leads David up the stairs and down a hall to his room.
"Oh," David asks before entering, "is there a gift shop or something where I can get a few clothes?"
Lucy smiles, "everything you need is in your room, have a good night."
David nods and enters the room. It is a large suite complete with a mini version of the lobby fireplace, a lounge chair, king sized bed and single person whirlpool. A mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker are also included. Unlike the lounge, the room have a TV. David picks up the remote and goes to sit, but, he quickly remembers his dirty state and opts for a quick shower and long soak in the whirlpool first. "I will get to work once I am cleaned up." The hot shower feels amazing after his cold boat ride, the bubbling whirlpool feels even better. He lines his back up with one of the jets and it feels like heaven. While soaking, David flips on the TV. However, it only plays the lodge hospitality channel. Over and over David watches Lucy and others walk viewers through the Sanctuary.
After his soak, David approaches the dresser. The top drawer contains 3 soft, Orient inspired robes identical the the man in the lobby. The second has sleepwear made with the same material and color pattern. In both drawers, there are beige, knee high nylons. A note in the drawer explains they are circulation socks designed to help relax the body. The note also says that like the robes, they are required attire for the program. David rubs the socks in his fingers and sighs.
"I won't let a stupid pair of socks stop me from finding Liz and Charlotte. I may as well get used to the damn things now." David sits in the edge of the bed and slips his freshly dried feet and legs into the nylon socks. Moments after putting them on, David feels them subtlety tighten and release over and over. As promised on the note, the gentle pulsing of the socks relax him further. So much, that he removes the tied towel and lays his naked body onto the bed. The pulsing of the socks and repeating TV put David in a relaxed, blissful state. The TV audio fades from the facility commercial and is replaced by something else.
"Soft... Silky...," a quiet female voice says, "Nylon and all of it's soft and silky properties are the key to true peace. To find your true self, you must be one with the nylon." This new audio repeats over and over like the facility ad before it. The relaxing drone of the new audio and pulsing of the nylons cause David's member to become rock hard. Mindlessly, he wraps his hand around his engorged manhood and slowly starts to stroke. Up and down, getting a bit faster with each stroke. As climax begins to build, David arches his back and moans.
Between the moans, he says, "Must...Be one... With nylon...." He repeats this 3 times before exploding and passing out.
