Jon, grinning mischeviously, picked up the nudism device, a sort of ray gun that said Nude-O-Tron, pointed it at Karyn and fired.
"What are you doing?" she shrieked, as her clothing disappeared. She hurridly attempted to cover her bare brests and vagina with her arms. For some reason, no one seemed to notice the fact that Karyn's clothes were disappearing right before their eyes. After a few minutes of sheer terror, Karyn uncovered herself. "You know," she said. "I actually kind of like this. Clothing was so much of a headache. Do you know how hard it is to be a girl when it comes to clothing. You have to get up an hour early just to get dressed. And now I don't have to do that anymore."
A couple of bystanders seemed to actively notice that Karyn was nude, but didn't seem to have a problem with it. A young woman, walking a dog, even tried flirting with her. "Hey, sweet cheeks," the woman said as she walked past. "Nice to see a girl with confidence in her body. I could use a cute girl like you warming my bed at night." She giggled and continued walking.
"Nobody seems to have noticed you change, Karyn," said Jon. "They seem to treat you like you've always been naked."
"I wonder how people would react if they were changed?" said Karyn.
Jon saw two women, who appeared to be in their 40's, sitting at a table, eating lunch. As an experiment, he shot one woman, but not the other. The targeted woman was wearing nothing but her jewellery and her shoes. Neither reacted to the woman's sudden nudity. Neither did anyone else. Jon and Karyn listened in on their conversation. It had been about the cost of latest fashions and adjusted itself accordingly, as if nothing had happened.
"You know," said the now-nude woman, "You really ought to try nudity. Its so much better than wearing clothes, especially on a hot day like this. My mother went nude back in the 60's and raised me on it. Haven't worn clothes a day in my life. God only knows how much money I've saved on that expense, and my husband certainly enjoys it."
"I don't know," said the other woman. "You grew up naked; I didn't. I just don't know if I'd get used to it."
Jon pointed the ray at the second woman and fired. Her clothes disappeared as well. She continued her conversation as if nothing had happened. "I thought I'd never get used to it," she continued. "I went nude in college because my roommate and her boyfriend were into it. I spent the first few weeks trying to cover myself up with my books anyways, but my roommate kept grabbing them out of my arms and forcing me to go around completely naked in front of the whole college. I'm so glad she made me, because you are so right about it being better than clothing." Their conversation continued on that vein for a few more minutes, until they paid their bill.
"Its strange," said Karyn. "I noticed that I had become a nudists, but nobody else did, even when it happened to them."
"Maybe its because you heard the wish," said Jon. "If they didn't, maybe they wouldn't know that things were happening."
"I wonder if things would be different if people knew that you were changing them into nudists," said Karyn. "I did; those other women were done by ambush. They might not have heard the wish, but its kind of hard to ignore when someone points a gun at you and suddenly, your clothes are gone."
"Maybe," said Jon. "But even if those two women didn't know that they were being changed, someone should have seen me changing them and you, and no one seemed to react."
"We'll just have to do some experimentation," said Karyn.
"Hopefully, a lot of experimentation," grinned Jon.
