"So, who should we use it on first?" Jon asked.
"Why not us?" Karyn asked. "You know, just to see how it works. If something goes wrong, we could always use the stone to fix it."
"Good idea. Okay, here it goes." He pointed the device at Karyn and pulled the trigger. A white beam shot out of the device and hit Karyn.
"I don't feel any different," Karyn said.
"That's because I haven't swapped anything yet. I have to shoot someone else with the swapper first."
"Oh," Karyn said.
Jon aimed the device at himself and pulled the trigger. A blinding white light hit him.
