Karyn and Jon met up after school and walked to Jon's house. Along the way he told her about his odd encounter with Steve in the hall causing her to bust out laughing. She especially liked that Steve couldn't actually come out and say that he wanted Jon to give him breasts.
When they reached Jon's house they immediately went up to his room shutting the door behind them.
"Okay." said Karyn, "Well, what are you going to wish for? Are you going to give him breasts like you promised?"
"I never promised to give him breasts." Jon said matter of factly.
"But you said..."
"I said," Jon said cutting her off, "that when he woke up in the morning he would have that little something that only girls have. Neither he nor I ever actually said breasts."
"But he meant breasts, right. So that's what you're going to give him, aren't you?" Karyn asked looking a little confused.
"Well I could; but, I think it would be more fun to do something else."
"I know Steve is a jerk but you can't, you made a deal, you can't go back on that."
"Sure I could, it's not like I'm a genie or the devil restricted to the letter of my word."
"But it is kinda bad to make a deal and then go back on it. It will make people not trust you anymore."
"I never said I wasn't going to honor the deal I made, just saying I could if I wanted to. I think it will be more fun though to give him exactly what he asked for though and let him live with the consequences."
Karyn was beginning to wonder if perhaps the power afforded by the stone was indeed corrupting her friend. In the past he never would have acted like this.
Jon picked up the stone and held it tight in his hand as he said "I wish that tomorrow morning when Steve wakes up he will find that his male genitals have been replaced by female genitals but the rest of his body is unchanged in anyway. Further more I wish that the next time I make a request of Steve he must do exactly what I have asked him to do, despite any misgivings that he may have, and that nobody will interfere with his performance of the stated request."
"Jon! What did you do? Why did you do that? That's going to far! It was one thing to make him want to have breasts but what you've done... that's... that's just evil pure and simple!" Karyn said getting up and backing toward the door out of disgust at what he had done and fear of what he might do next.
"Karyn wait!" Jon shouted down the hall at her quickly retreating back. Angry at what he saw as Karyn's sudden betrayal and almost without thinking Jon made a quick wish, "I wish..."
