"I'll visit later Jon" Samantha gave him a kiss on the cheek, before walking off.
"You're lucky you have her you know." Julie told Jon as Samantha began walking home. "She's grown into such a smart and beautiful girl. If you don't treat her right she'll have no trouble finding someone who will."
"You're right Julie, but don't discount Jon either." Zoe said from her car, still eating her onion rings. "Jon has grown into a very handsome boy too. Before he and Samantha got together Carly used to tell me how big a crush she had on you. Just don't tell her I told you."
"Mom! I can't believe you!" The group turned their attention to a very overweight girl with long brunette hair tied into two long ponytails on either side of her head. Her figure took after Zoe, more pear shaped with chunky thighs, wide hips and a fat ass that created a shelf behind her. Her middle was flabby, and while decently endowed at the chest her boobs weren't as big as Linda or Samantha's. She had many of Zoe's features, and looked sort of plain and nerdy. Jon did recognize her from his science class.
Did that mean she'd had a crush on him, or had Gladys and this girl inherited it? He couldn't be sure.
"Sorry Carly, I didn't see you coming. Jon is handsome though. If we were the same age I know I'd go for him." Zoe laughed, causing her belly to quake and her triple chins to jiggle.
Jon's face turned red from the shock and embarrassment. If Zoe knew what his wish had done to her she'd probably kill him by sitting on him. The idea of his little sister being an older woman with the hots for him felt gross.
"Can we just go get some food? I'm starving." Carly quickly took a seat in Zoe's car, embarrassment on her face too. She completely avoided eye contact with Jon.
"Sure, sure. We'll stop off and get some burgers to tide us over until dinner. Take care Julie, and don't be a stranger Jon." Zoe laughed before putting her car in gear and driving away.
Jon talked about school and minor things with Julie as they picked up Mikey and headed home. Jon was mostly quiet though, thinking of what his wish had caused today.
When he got home Jon went to his room and got out the stone.
"I wish I knew why the family swap wish I made worked the way it did today." Jon wished. It all became clear to him. The stone informed him of the vague nature of his wish, and several ways it may be interpreted. It also informed him that it may be interpreted in a different way everyday.
"Shit, I really fucked this up." Jon told himself as he thought of Karyn, Zoe, Zelda, Stephanie and his mom. He hadn't planned on anything like this happening, but it had.
"It's just for the week though. Once the wish is done I can just put everyone back where they're supposed to be." Jon reassured himself. "Yeah, it's not like this is permanent. They may even swap into better lives as early as tomorrow."
The more he reassured himself, the easier it was to put the changes that had been done out of his mind. He could fix things later, and he could even get to see what some of his teachers were like at his age.He eventually fell into his routine playing some video games and waiting for dinner. After the meal was done Samantha came over, and Jon welcomed his new girlfriend.
Meanwhile around town many people Jon knew were continuing with their lives as normal, unaware of how they'd changed or what they'd lost.
