As Joy looked down at the baby girl at her feet something seemed oddly familiar about this situation but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She couldn't think of any reason why seeing a teenage boy transform into a baby girl would seem familiar to her. She put those thoughts aside and started thinking about the more immediate problem: there were now two Abby's and no Mark's in the house. She knew that she couldn't change this Abby back into Mark until tomorrow.
Joy briefly considered turn the original Abby into Mark but even her six year old mind knew that that was probably a really bad idea. The other options that she could think of weren't much better. First thing was first though: she needed to get a diaper on Mark before he had an accident.
Joy's Aunt Sharon had let her help her change her baby boy a few times and Joy knew that she could probably figure it out. A few minutes later the new baby girl was diapered to Joy's satisfaction. Sure it wasn't quite straight and it bunched a bit around one leg, but it seemed to cover all of the things it was supposed to.
Mark seemed to be asleep or nearly so by the time she was done. Not knowing what else to do with the baby, Joy tucked her into her crib and pulled a blanket over her.
Joy went back to Jake and Mark's room and hid the medallion where she didn't think Jake's mom would look. She knew there were going to be questions about where the second baby came from and she didn't want to risk anybody else seeing the medallion and guessing that it was the cause no matter how unlikely that was.
