"I wish I had a device that allows me to control the actions of anyone I target with it. Also, I wish that the device has a vocal interface."
After Jon said that, an odd-looking gun appeared on his bed. It looked like something out of an old sci-fi movie. He picked it up and looked at it. On the side of it, there was a small embedded mic.
"What exactly does it do again?" Karyn asked.
"Well," Jon explained. "It allows me to control the actions of whomever I shoot with it."
"You mean you'll possess their bodies?"
"No. I say something into the device that I want someone to do and then I pull the trigger. Whoever I shoot will have to do whatever I said, totally against their will." Jon said. "I'm already thinking of a whole list of people I'd like to embarrass with this thing."
"Jon, if you can make someone do whatever you want, wouldn't that mean that you could also tell them to hurt themselves, or even kill themselves?"
"I want to embarrass them, not kill them."
"Yeah, but what happens if it gets stolen or something?"
"Karyn, you worry too much. I'm gonna have this thing with me all the time. Now, come on. I can't wait to try this thing out."
Karyn was a little hesitant, but she eventually went with Jon. And after another ten minutes, they arrived at school.
Jon looked around at the dozens of people walking around. "Now, who's first?" he asked, with a smile.
