"What's wrong with this thing?" Jon heard Mikey say.
Jon darted into the living room. "What is it?"
"There's something wrong with the TV." Mikey kept changing the channel with the remote control, but the only thing on the screen was ... Karyn?
"Jon, I'm in here," Karyn's image said, on the TV screen.
"Hey, that's your friend," Mikey said, pointing at the screen. "What's she doing on TV?"
"Uhh ... Mikey, shouldn't you be getting ready for school?"
"Yeah?"
"Well, maybe you should get to it."
"I'm watching cartoons, Jon."
"Now, Mikey."
His little brother grunted. "Fine." He left the room and went upstairs.
"Karyn? Can you hear me?" Jon asked.
"Yeah, actually. I can't see you, but I can hear you."
"I know what that's like," he said, recalling the time he spent inside his computer.
"Jon, don't you have to get to school? Turn that TV off," his mom said.
"Don't worry, Karyn. I'll fix this," he said, before turning off the TV.
