Hawkins is about to get into the thick of it here, and I'm unsure about how far to take it.
Throughout my brief attempts at showing Hawkins in action, I've been setting him up as something that defies expectations. Being able to see as well as attack the shadow wolf, disappearing completely to Tetra's senses, etcetera.
And I'm embarrassed to admit, there's been a niggling part of me that's been telling me to buck the established rules and have Hawkins dispatch "enemies" with greater... success than has been stated by those like Tetra.
This is partially stemming from my personal taste in writing. I tend to imagine up big action set pieces, which means a desire for more efficacious scenes of Hawkins in action. I have a weakness for superhero action, and I've been meaning to reakky go hog-wild with Hawkins' shadow abilities for a while.
Or perhaps this is just a bad batch of Mary Sue-ness bubbling up in my creative brain.
Of course, I wouldn't dare attempt any of this without asking you guys first. I talked about it a little with Wierdo, and he didn't outright object to the possibility, but made sure I knew to check your opinions first.
